The name “Ex Astris” means “from the stars”; an idea popularized by Carl Sagan that we are not separate from the cosmos, but a part of it. The elements within us were forged in stars that died long ago and reformed into new things — the origin of life and everything that makes it up: all our ideas, innovations, and experiences. Once we begin to understand the universe, we begin to understand ourselves.

Ex Astris is a platform for experiences that connect people to the cosmos and to one another. We collaborate with partners across education, events, technology, and space science — creating opportunities for people to connect and explore.
